DIRECTOR:
Bro. Pol Jucaban
In 1986, I was a Project Director in the Department of Public Works and Highways. I was handling foreign funded projects worth 100’s of million dollars. After the EDSA revolution, there was a new President, new Cabinet members, new Secretaries, and, of course, new assistants.
Some people were interested in my position, so my appointment was placed on a “floating status”, without salary for a few months.
At that time, I became a member of the Lord’s Flock. I asked the community to pray for me. We prayed that those people who wanted me to be out of office would not succeed because I was not doing anything bad in public service. Before the end of 1987, I received a telegram – an invitation for a seminar in Malaysia. I attended the seminar. Then, in January 1988, I received another telegram – an invitation to be a consultant in Nepal. I worked for only a month and earned in dollars. This money sustained me throughout the period I was on a floating status. Truly, a great favor from God!
My return flight from Nepal to Manila, was marked by another surprise. It was February 14, I was aboard the Thai Airways, the plane was full of passengers, then all of a sudden the stewardess announced that my name was picked out as recipient of the valentine package courtesy of the staff. I received a valentine’s gift of red rose and a heart-shaped cake. It made my Valentines Day! A wonderful favor from God!
When I disembarked in the Manila International airport, I went directly to the Lord’s Flock before going home, where I shared my good blessing and gave thanks to the Lord.
When I returned home, I asked the community again to pray for me. My God, my Father, heard our prayers. In 1989, there was a reshuffle in the government. The Secretary of our Department was replaced. The people who were interested in my project and wanted me out of office were booted out. The Secretary who took over knew me and my track records personally. I was reappointed and restored to my position. And another great surprise, I even received back wages. Queen Esther and Purim came to my mind – what an amazing favor from the Lord!
Truly, no matter what the circumstances are, God, our Father, can make things happen in our favor. Thank you, Lord!

Bro. Mon, or fondly called "Kuya Mon" by those who have been under him, is one of the pioneers of the Lord's Flock. Having had his Life in the Spirit Seminar in the Loved Flock Community on October 1985, he was one of those who were led to "exodus" to the Lord's Flock in 1986. He has always been with the community since then.
A BS MIE Graduate from the Mapua Institute of Technology, Bro. Mon worked as an Industrial Engineer for three years at the RubberWorld Philippines, Inc. But his career was cut short by God's Call to Serve. At the age of 26, when he met the Lord, he dedicated his time, and talent and treasure to the Lord of the Service.
Currently, Bro. Mon handles the Theatre Arts Directorate. He also took care of the then Sheepfold Directorate as his first assignment. Five years after the TV Ministry was born in 1998, he was assigned as Media & Arts Director. He too, is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Lord's Flock Foundation.
Together with his wife, Sis. Roselyn (or Ate Rose as others would call her), they were Stewards of the Single/Young Adult Ministry, from 1988 to 1998 and was also part of the Healing Ministry during the early years of the community. He is also an active member of the Heralds Minstry as a speaker.
